Title : *UX Designer* Location: *Danbury, CT (Locals) F2F * Duration: *6+ month Contract* *Job Description :* *Responsibilities* Skills § Seeking a *USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER* to provide design and functionality direction to achieve the best user experience for several highly visible responsive web and mobile projects. § This individual must be proficient in creating low-fidelity mock-ups, clickable prototypes, and polished designs for existing internal and external websites and mobile apps. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies, and a passion for great design that supports the end user and the business \process. § This position will work collaboratively with project managers, business representatives, web/mobile developers, and other designers. Responsibilities and requirements § Design of useful, usable, and engaging websites for customers, clients, and employees. § Plan and propose innovative solutions for a variety of user experience challenges including responsive web, desktop web, and § native apps. § Provide art direction and/or define the visual style for web and mobile applications. § Present design concepts to the project stakeholders for review and feedback. § Apply User Interface design principles in creating intuitive and engaging designs to support external users and the business process. § Translate business requirements into an effective user experience § Knowledge of industry standard graphics design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and wire-framing tools § Coding is not a requirement, but a background in *HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Angular* is essential to understand the relationship between design and implementation. § Create low-fidelity mock-ups that explain concepts to stake-holders and other team members. § Create clickable and functional wire-frames that can be user tested or explain functionality. § Design and create high-fidelity comps that work within brand guidelines and maintain high aesthetic value § Work closely with project managers, analysts, and web developers to implement the design. § Use user data, analytics and business requirements to assist in developing user stories and high-level requirements. § Participate in A/B testing strategies, implementation, and analysis. § Conduct user testing and research. § Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications § Contribute to the group's shared knowledge of user-centered design and research methodologies § Work closely with the Business Technology Solutions team to § champion design at every phase § Participate in all stages of the Web Development Life Cycle from initial concept, gathering requirements, and conducting stakeholder interviews to design, development, testing, and deployment § This person will be an independent worker but collaborative as well dealing with other Development groups and Business areas § This UI/UX Designer will be spearheading a Transformation in Customer Facing WebsitesWill look at the existing internal websites-Customer facing websites Make recommendations to make them more contemporary, more responsive in her words a "Holistic Approach.
