In order to avoid falling behind with the new project development schedule dictated by the State of North Carolina’s Division of Employment Security (DES), the agency seeks to procure one (1) contractor to fill the Mainframe Programmer/ Analyst role to support migration of the current legacy system to new unemployment insurance system.* *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Required Skills:* *• Knowledge and programming skills with COBOL 10years, CICS 10 yrs, VSAM 10yrs, JCL 10yrs., and SQL* *• Knowledge and experience in modifying mainframe applications beginning with a user request through coding, testing and implementation 10 yrs.* *• System and data analysis skills.* *• Program unit and integration test script development and test execution skills.* *• Ability to write system and interface specifications.* *• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
