Title: Solaris Engineer Location : Atlanta, GA (Locals preferable) Duration : 3 Months Contract *Job Description* The SOLARIS Engineer will be supporting a 40 person team and the build out of a new disaster recovery site which will house all replicated UNIX operating systems, Linux servers and NetApp Filers, as well as other technologies. The SOLARIS Engineer will be responsible for discovery, assessments, remediation, and replication of SOLARIS OS to new disaster recovery site. Required Skills: • 5 + year experience with SOLARIS OS, best practices design, patching and replication o For eliminating back up failures. • Understanding of Design, build, run methodologies as it relates to SOLARIS OS • Understanding of UNIX disaster recovery solutions and methodologies • Shell Scripting - Perl, Python, etc. • Excellent communication skills o For interacting with technical team and Client Stakeholders • Creative mind set as it related to design of SOLARIS OS in DR site.
