Dig deep into monitoring tools both stalwart and cutting-edge, such as *Zabbix, Splunk, Gomez, Pingdom* etc. Provide full visibility into every corner of sales demo environment. You will use both your engineering and systems administration skills. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys monitoring, automating, or just building cool data visualizations. What you will do Building new scripts and tools to act as monitoring plugins using shell, Perl or Python Building new dashboards and alert boards in Splunk, Zabbix and other tools. • Drive monitoring execution while turning requirements into actions and deliverables. Working closely with development and support groups to determine what needs to be monitored at what levels • Work in a very fast-pace environment, delivering KPI driven monitoring. What you will bring to the table 7-10 years? experience as a Unix / windows administrator. Previous experience and excellent understanding of Zabbix and Splunk or any other enterprise-grade monitoring/log management tools. Proficient with recent shell, Perl, Python Recent experience with SAAS monitoring tools through API Great verbal and written communication skills Experience analyzing and tuning monitoring thresholds • Efficient and skilled team player to deliver combined results (you will be working with a team as a single delivery) • PLUS - Experience in building Azure and public cloud based monitors (OMS) • PLUS ? Windows administration and availability / performance monitoring • PLUS ?
