I'd like a sponsor for 6803941: Make /usr/bin/ls more compatible with gnu ls.
I suspect it will also require the creation of an ARC case (since it's adding options to ls), but at least an initial webrev is available at http://cr.opensolaris.org/~jbk/shutils (there are some other bits in there, I will separate things out in the next few days, the changes to ls are the only ones relevant to this change, the other things can be ignored).
