request-sponsor has a long backlog as you can see in the outstanding
requests list at:
    http://opensolaris.org/os/bug_reports/request_sponsor/

It's not uncommon for it to take weeks or months to get a sponsor.
(As you can see, some are waiting over a year, but those are rare.)

Given that Sun's US employees were on holiday break (12/24 - 1/2)
when your request came in, there were few people to see it, and it's
no surprise it hasn't been picked up yet.
