Hi all,

I am currently re-vamping our resin configuration in order to get a bit
more flexibility and modularity and I was trying the following using the
dependency tag:

<!-

========================================================================
=====
  Resin 3.0 configuration file.

========================================================================
=====
-->

<resin xmlns="http://caucho.com/ns/resin";
       xmlns:resin="http://caucho.com/ns/resin/core";>

        <!--

========================================================================
===
                Logging configuration for the JDK logging API.

========================================================================
===
        -->
        <log name='' level='all' path='stdout:'
timestamp="[%H:%M:%S.%s]"
        format="[${app.contextPath}]-${log.level}
[Thread-${log.threadID}] ${log.loggerName}-->${log.sourceMethodName}
${log.message}"/>

        <resin:log>============== Bootstrapping Resin
================</resin:log>
        <resin:log>System Property[resin.home] = ${Var["resin.home"]}
</resin:log>
        <resin:log>System Property[server.root] = ${Var["server.root"]}
</resin:log>
        <resin:log>System Property[java.home] = ${Var["java.home"]}
</resin:log>
        <resin:log>System Property[file.encoding] =
${Var["file.encoding"]} </resin:log>
        <resin:log>System Property[user.dir] = ${Var["user.dir"]}
</resin:log>
        <resin:log>System Property[java.class.path ] =
${Var["java.class.path"]} </resin:log>
        <resin:log>============== Bootstrapping Resin
(end)===========</resin:log>
        <resin:log></resin:log>
        <resin:log></resin:log>

        <!--

========================================================================
===
                Dependency-check-interval

========================================================================
===
        -->
<dependency-check-interval>2s</dependency-check-interval>
        <dependency path="${resinHome}/conf/system-properties.xml"/>
        <dependency path="/usr/local/resin/conf/system-properties.xml"/>

(...)

Then I start resin and I do an update to:

/usr/local/resin/conf/system-properties.xml

and the content is not refreshed. Am I doing something wrong?

Here is the content of the file:

<!--
         - Global Properties file
  -->
<resin xmlns="http://caucho.com/ns/resin";
       xmlns:resin="http://caucho.com/ns/resin/core";>

        <!-- BeVocal System properties -->
        <system-property
com.bevocal.application.topology.environment="engineering"/>
        <system-property
bevocal.snmp.destination="public/10.0.100.75:162"/>
        <system-property process.name="Resin234"/>
        <system-property bevocal.getdistprops="false"/>
</resin>

Thanks,

Francois Richard
