hello
    when i use resin meet some random http 503 error on the online server,
we use apache as the http server and use mod_proxy to connect to resin
from LAN, resin and apache runs on different virtual host, resin have 2G
RAM.
java arg is the default
          <jvm-arg>-Xmx256m</jvm-arg>
          <jvm-arg>-Xss1m</jvm-arg>
          <jvm-arg>-Xdebug</jvm-arg>
          <jvm-arg>-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote</jvm-arg>
          <thread-max>256</thread-max>
          <socket-timeout>65s</socket-timeout>
          <keepalive-max>128</keepalive-max>
          <keepalive-timeout>15s</keepalive-timeout>

    we use install resin from the source package
railo-3.1.2.001-resin-3.1.9-with-jre-linux.tar.gz, and the install configure
is "./configure --prefix=/resinpath --enable-ssl --enable-jni", when make
did
"cp -r RESIN_SOURCE/modules/c/src/resin_os resin" and
"cp -r RESIN_SOURCE/modules/c/src/resin_os resinssl". the java version is
1.6.0_18.
    now the log level on the server is:
        <log name="" level="all" path="stdout:" timestamp="[%H:%M:%S.%s]
{%{thread}} "/>
        <logger name="com.caucho" level="all"/>
        <logger name="com.caucho.java" level="finer"/>
        <logger name="com.caucho.loader" level="finer"/>
found nothing about http 503 in resin log. but found something about http

    i had a similar environment on my local, had a test with jmeter(Number
of Threads: 1000,
Ramp-Up Period: 0, Loop count: 200), each virtual host have 512 RAM. java
arg also not changed.

    i tried to change <thread-max>256</thread-max> to 400, but after this
http 503
comes more frequent, what can i do to solve the http 503? thanks
