Hi Scott,

Apparently it’s a license problem. I requested an evaluation license to
finish testing the configuration, then I’ll have the customer commit to a
professional license.

Thank you for your pointers. The <development-mode-error-page/> directive is
very useful.

Christophe

Hi guys,

I’m trying to configure Resin 4 to run on a single server, with a couple
virtual hosts. Each virtual host should use its own JVM.

I have a similar setup running flawlessly with Resin 3, but I seem to be at
the end of my wits with Resin 4.

So could anyone on this list be kind enough to point to me what’s wrong or
missing in the config file below ?

(When I try to access www1.test.com or www2.test.com, I get “Server Error.
The server is temporarily unavailable due to an internal error. Please
notify the system administrator of this problem.” If I type the IP address
of the server, I get a 404, as expected.)

Can you check the logs on the LB and the backend servers?

The default app-default.xml is in
"classpath:META-INF/caucho/app-default.xml", but it will work if you do have
an app-default.xml in the conf directory.

You might also add the <development-mode-error-page/> to the
<cluster-default>. That will give a better error message. (It's disabled by
default for security.)

Otherwise, that configuration looks fine to me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
