POSITION :Project Manager LOCATION :Colorado Springs,CO LENGTH :Long term Contract Best Rate= $35/hr C2C Job Description This project manager will be responsible for managing multiple IT projects through the software development lifecycle. In working with the Development Teams, Testing Teams and interfacing systems, this Project Manager will manage and track all details of a project to insure successful implementation of code in the requested release timeframe. Some of the common duties of the PM will include: 1) understanding the business and system requirements of the project 2) managing to the agreed upon scope 3) developing a project schedules 4) issue tracking and resolution 5) action tracking and resolution 6) status reporting 7) tracking status and progress of testing defects 8) ability to communicate and present status of project to the Lead Development Director. This position requires very detailed tracking of issues and actions as well as a good understanding of the impacted applications and what is required of each for the assigned project. Additional qualifications: 5 years IT Project Management experience preferred. Good experience and skills with all Microsoft Office products. PMP preferred but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
