POSITION :Interface Developer LOCATION New York LENGTH :6+ Month Contract Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong hands-on experience with Pervasive Data Integrator (PDI having used the tool hands-on to build maps for at least 2 years. 2+ years experience working as a hands-on developer and architect for ETL requirements with strong understanding of ETL methodologies and design patterns. Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQ with hands-on expertise in creating SQL programs and scripts including designing for optimization and performance and tunin Must be experienced in designing and developing Application Data Interfaces using Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL), XML, AIX, Shell scripting. Some previous experience with Java, COBOL and CICS is a plus. Working knowledge of development and configuration management tools (Rational Suite preferred). Understanding of standard SDLC methodologies (knowledge of Rational Unified Process a plus). Basic understanding of accounting and budgeting functions or financial management packages. Exposure to Versata Logic Suite a PLUS. Strong analytical skills. Experience 3 or more years of hands-on experience with large, complex, data integration projects utilizing major industry databases, legacy systems and integration tools. At least two (2) full SDLC implementations of data integration/ETL efforts as hands-on developer\architect. At least one (1) implementation involving real time online or batch interface with a legacy application. Education BA Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field from a recognized college or university.
