Position :QA tester Location : Atlanta, GA Duration :6+ Month Contract Need Local Candidates Job Description: Years of experience: 5+ Required Skills: Extensive experience and expertise interpreting and analyzing Business and System Requirements as well as functional and technical specification documents. Extensive experience in test approach, master test plan, and test case preparation/execution. Possess and demonstrate advanced SQL skills. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios and scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Plan, manage, and execute tests. Coordinate and manage daily test activities and assignments in accordance with the project schedule. Responsible for defect and test execution management, root cause assessment and gap analysis. Able to interface with Project Team to ensure test plans, requirements and related documents properly address project needs and are traceable and executable to requirements. Able to identify and track defects, issues, risks and action items. Must be willing to adhere to defined established processes and have experience in process analysis and re-engineering. Expert user of Test Director/Quality Center and MS Office. Preferred Skills: Previous experience in Data warehouse application testing. Previous experience in testing on Teradata databases or in Teradata conversions.
