<p>Role: Need Netezza, DBA for Infosys/Citizens Bank, -</p> <p>Location: 
Cranston, RI</p> <p>Duration: 12+months</p> <p>Note: NO OPT/CPT and 
H1-Transfers</p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>JD for this role –</strong></p> 
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong> </p> <p>1)   Support the NPS See below 
for details servers for end to end solutions. </p> <p>2)   Should carryout 
backup and restore tasks using nzbackup and nzrestore. </p> <p>3)   Should 
leverage nzsession, nzsystem, nz_skew, nzstats, nz_health utilities to monitor 
the skew and distribution of all tables. </p> <p>4)   Troubleshoot security 
LDAP authentication issues related to users and groups. </p> <p>5)   Utilize 
nz_migrate, nzload to load and unload the data from text files and other 
databases. </p> <p>6)   Apply the nzstop, nzstart utilities to restart the NPS 
and do manual vacuum using nz_manual_vacuum. </p> <p>7) Configure the history 
database to collect all column and table level history info. Create databases 
and design the database objects with appropriate parameters. </p> <p>8) Work 
with Netezza support to resolve issues related to disk replacements and 
hardware components replacement. </p> <p>9) Write shell scripts to automate ETL 
jobs, nz process related jobs, groom, genstats etc. </p> <p>10) Troubleshoot 
performance issues, database usage, hardware components SPUs, SPA, Disks and 
raise PMRs with IBM NZ support to resolve the issues and upgrades. </p> <p>11) 
Install &amp; configure SQL extensions and INZA on the Netezza performance
