Perform expert level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Have very strong experience in development, deployment and production support of Java app with REST calls, Oracle and DB2 databases, stored procedures, unix scripting and power shell scripting. Should quickly grasp existing system architecture and support all technical initiatives related to servers, databases, data center migration. Performs code reviews and collaborates with other Vanguard technical leads/SME when necessary. Collaborates with Product Test Engineer and Business to resolve issues and ambiguities that may come up during development. Automate testing wherever possible. Monitor application in production and resolve production incidents. Provide production support during code deployment, software patches, database/server upgrades or changes. Participate in kanban, technical integration meetings and other collaborative meetings as needed. Work with Project manager for project and delivery planning.
