The Project Scheduler will work with team members and the project manager(s) to develop the engineering and commissioning and qualification schedules to support a major capital project. The construction schedule will be developed by the general contractor, but the Project Scheduler will be responsible for integrating the construction schedule into the engineering and commissioining and qualification schedules. The Project Scheduler will contact team members to get updates, and track the progress of those tasks in the Microsoft Project Gantt chart. The Project Scheduler will also maintain predecessor and successor relationships in the schedule and delete, modify, or add tasks as the project develops. The Project Scheduler will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the resource loading in the MS Project/Primavera Plan. This person will also be responsible for identifying priorities, shifting critical paths, and generating status reports and forms. The candidate should be ...
