*Requirement:* *Vb.net Developer* *Primary Skills:* * Vb.net, MS SQL, XML, ADO.net, MQ Series, .net framework * *Description:* Application Developers are responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of business applications using appropriate tools and technologies. Under the guidance of the Technical Manager or Business Applications Manager, they will collaborate with company customers, staff members, IT colleagues, and other stake holders to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, access the application / solution design and develop solutions to satisfy the business requirements. Specifically, these resources will be used to support the new client on boarding process and billable change requests. *Key responsibilities include: * · Involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications · Primary contributor in gathering technical requirements, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. · Company thought leader. · Technical Subject Matter Expert · Resource as technical liaison to client counterparts · Develops pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends *REQUIRED SKILLS:*** · BS or BA in Computer Science or related field (Graduate degree is desirable) · 5+ years of hands-on experience in programming/software development · A background in the healthcare industry and experience leading projects would be preferred · Significant experience in writing VB.NET and MS SQL coding · 2+ years experience in the following application development technologies · XML or XSL, Distributed Application Development, Database Programming, MQ Series, Net framework 2.0, ADO.NET, EDI Data Translation · Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures and design, data management, and data warehousing · Manage simultaneous projects to completion · Excellent communication, time management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required · Technical proficiency in application development including systems design experience, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. · Comply with software development life cycle methodology and related change control disciplines in completion of assigned tasks · Demonstrate understanding of business processes in core areas of responsibility.
