Develops understanding of business processes being supported by assigned application(s). Reviews current applications and business processes Complies with all project methodology requirements. Participates in developing time estimates for project schedules and provides ongoing status information to facilitate project management. Raises issues as they arise and communicates regularly with onsite and/or offsite project team members to ensure project success. Analyzes, designs, and programs graphical user interface and server solutions in Java, JavaScript for moderately to highly complex business problems according to customer or user requirements. Unit tests, system tests, integration tests, and regression tests the solutions. Solicits customer acceptance and then implements system components using techniques that preserve system integrity. Provides training and/or technical assistance to the customer or user when needed. Applications developed will interface with legacy AIX applications and third party applications using API's. s and assist with developing the architect to support the businesses, allowing for a robust flexible architect JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science or related fields, and have at least 5 years applicable work experience. Applicant must have at least 5 years experience in web development using Java, JavaScript. Experience with AJAX, Mashups, Hibernate, SOA and Web 2.0 technologies preferred. Desired: 5+ year's hands-on development, software architecture, and implementation experience; Java, JavaScript, UNIX (AIX), AJAX, HTML and Cascading Style Sheets, DHTML.
