*REQUIREMENT 1 :**System Administrator - DNS *Administer the servers running on Linux platforms - Troubleshooting the incidents & problems reported on the above servers / appliances - Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems - To carry out the scheduled activities like Patch management, Log file rotation - Involve in security related activities like OS hardening, Password management - Configuration of services like DNS, DHCP - Carry out user management activities - Scheduling, configuring & verifying backup jobs - Generating regular reports - Contribute to internal knowledge management system - Plan & execute improvement in related areas - ITIL process awareness - Experience of working in customer environment preferred. Skills: a. Good hands on experience on Linux OS, good knowledge in DNS/DHCP. b. Working knowledge on any of monitoring tools like Mercury, HP Sitescope. c. Should have knowledge on the applications like IP adm. tools. d. Knowledge on Active Directory would be desirable e. Exposure on Cluster environment would be an added advantage f. Should be familiar with hardware appliances. g. RHEL certification preferred. h. Good Communication skills i. Good networking concepts. Good with IP addressing, subnets, routing and switching. Certifications: RHEL certification preferred.
