Title: Sr. System Analyst Washington, DC for 6 months Scope: Must possess technical experience analyzing and designing computer systems. Possesses knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and demonstrated ability to formulate and develop specifications and requirements for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging computer programs. Provides technical direction for personnel performing system and software development tasks including the review of products for quality. Coordinates with Delivery Manager to ensure problem solution and customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations for approval of major computer system installations. Prepare milestone status reports and presentations on system concepts. Provides daily supervision to supporting analysts and technicians as needed to support CLIENT APLICATION Business Plan rewrite effort. Must know UML (Use Case, Activity, State Chart, and Class Diagram), ERD and database normalization options. Must also be familiar with Requisite Pro, RUP, and Scrum. *Additional Technical requirements:* *• *3-5 years of experience as a Techno/Functional analyst working with PeopleSoft systems with an in-depth knowledge of PS Financial modules. • 3-5 years of experience with PeopleSoft development technologies –( PeopleCode, Application Designer, Component Interface, Application Engine , SQR, Integration Broker and XML Publisher ) used to technically design, develop and test interfaces and conversions modifications. • Experience interacting with business users, ability to collect requirements, create business requirements documents and functional specification documents for system improvements • Experience working closely with technical teams to translate functional specifications into technical solutions • Experience in writing SQL queries, data analysis and validation Experience and knowledge of integration points to and from PeopleSoft Fin system Expected Work Products Translate business requirements into Functional Requirement Specifications. Distribute Interim FRS based on each component to IT Development and PV teams for review. Ensure teams are in agreement with approach prior to distribution to project team. Ensure functional requirements will linked/mapped back to business requirements (BRs) using RequisitePro. Ensure Draft FRS documents are distributed and walk thoughs conducted with the project team. Ensure Final FRS is distributed and reviewed with the project team.
