*Location : Norwalk , CT Duration : 12+ months **Job Description*

   1. Migration of Data center storage  including data migration cross OS
   platform from various vendor using storage array .
   2. Maintain and Manage various storage solutions include HDS VSP, IBM
   DSxx, HP XP ,EVA , Netapp
   3. Maintain and Manage various backup  solutions include Commvault , HDI
   , TSM , CA Arcserve ,
   4. Design architecture of storage  and backup solution , including BOM
   rationalization and finalization
   5. Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd level technical support, guidance and
   direction for products supported.
   6. Analyse and resolve escalated problems
   7. Ensure integrity of supported environment
   8. Actively and pre-emptively determine possible faults and causes by
   the execution of pre-determined health and operational checks
   9. Manage and resolve problems identified by sys admins or monitoring
   software Work with change and problem management tools
   10. Hardware /software fault detection and vendor liaison
   11. Liaise with OEM Vendors as required
   12. Analyse and resolve escalated problems within target
   13. Investigate, identify and document proposals that will improve
   application recoverability
   14. Document and implement changes to technical standards as required
   15. Change and problem management targets are exceeded
   16. Ensure that customer satisfactory levels are exceeded
   17. Has applied knowledge of SAN, and various Hitachi , IBM , HP
   products - namely VSP , HUS , DSxx , Nxxx , XIV , HP EVA , XPxxx etc
   18. Provide recommendations to improve the SAN infrastructure, and
   address/lead critical issues and root cause analysis
   19. Proven track record in the implementation and execution of
   documented support processes and can direct others in same
   20. Must have excellent team working skills balanced with ability to
   work alone and a positive attitude
   21. Ability to quickly assimilate technical and non-technical information
   Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal
   22. Desire to obtain formal certification is a must (preferable is
   already holding atleast one)
   23. Fully understand and support all storage and Backup administration
   and management policies and procedures
   24. Manage the storage and Backup infrastructure to ensure all Service
   Level Agreements are met
   25. Second level management and support of Server/Storage/Backup
   infrastructure components
   26. Implement approved tested, regression planned changes to the
   storage/ Backup infrastructure within agreed outage periods
   27. Monitor storage/Backup environment and suggest timely
   recommendations to prevent storage related operational problems
   28. Must be able to manage Vendor SMEs and supervise their work.
