*Job Title: Business Analyst (Functional)* *Location: HOUSTON TX* *Duration: 5+ Months* *C2C Rate : $45/hr* *Job Description: * We are looking for strong Endur Business Analysts to be part of our Blueprint R2 team. Our team needs experienced, hands-on BAs with basic technical Endur competency as well. We are not looking for managers, architects nor thought-leaders – we need people who can ‘get their hands dirty’ design the solution, as well as learn existing functionalities. We expect our BAs to have the solid experience and flexibility to fit in with R2s different functional teams (Marine, Truck/Rail, Pipeline, Derivatives, Connected Application Portfolio (CAP) and Data). Business Analysts are responsible for the identification and definition of the business needs of their clients and stakeholders, and to help determine solution(s) to meet their business needs or resolve their business problem(s). Responsibilities: Research, understand, document, and articulate business requirements, and control requirements, for R2’s functional teams (Marine, Truck/Rail, Pipeline and Derivatives) Analyze business processes and translate business requirements into functional requirements and design; wherever possible, identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility and recommend new approaches Document and communicate functional designs with other work stream BAs and developers, ensuring knowledge transfer is effectively completed Review detailed technical design Prepare test cases, recommend data that reflects realistic operational business conditions, and participate in testing at both unit and integration levels Provide advice and guidance to database designers using the Endur data structures and associated components Work with solution authority architects, knowledge SMEs and business users to get their agreement on design, have them participate in unit and acceptance testing, and get their agreement to deploy Deliver to plan Requirements: Minimum of four (4) years of recent experience as a Business Analyst using the Openlink Endur application Proven track record of strong delivery in previous implementation assignments Commensurate experience in commodity trading to include deal capture, risk management, scheduling and / or settlements and accounting. . Demonstrates high standards of professional behavior in dealings with business and IT colleagues.
