The BA/QA will act as a BA for project teams to elicit and document requirements and then continue on to lead, coordinate and perform the functional test activities. Specific responsibilities will include but, not be limited to, requirements elicitation, documenting requirements and technical designs, creating a test plan, test approach and test scripts based upon the requirements, and working with the team and stakeholders to ensure the product that is delivered meets the requirements and quality objectives of the project. · Develop a deep understanding of the business functions and processes within Transmission Planning and IT departments · Document, review and update business and functional requirements based on client's feedback · Serve as a business liaison between client and project teams · Establish, monitor and maintain high client satisfaction levels · Document, track and resolve problems in client business systems · Have primary responsibility for deliverables, such as business and functional requirements documents, test plan, test cases, and test scripts) · Responsible for major portions of QA management of the project (coordinating project team test plan development, test case evaluation, results analysis, coordination of resources and environments). · Schedule and participate in or facilitate and lead meetings as necessary (e.g., requirements definition sessions, design reviews, issue resolution, status meetings, etc.) · Assist project manager in developing work plans, including scope, milestones, schedule, resources and deliverables · Assist in the development of status reports regarding project team progress · Ensure appropriate level of controls are applied to work efforts, including security requirements, to ensure efficient delivery of robust, effective business solutions · Provide Quality Assurance review during the design, development and testing processes · Participate in and lead system testing efforts · Assist business clients in developing requirements for and integrating systems *Required Skills* · Someone who is energetic and passionate about their work, extremely positive and solution driven · Someone who has worked on large teams, on projects that have different business owners · Strong customer and business focus · Strong communications skills · Experience working with business and technical staffs to define, document, and track software requirements and design · Experience in defining test strategy/approach, test cases · Strong experience in the testing phase with business personnel, developers and management · B.S. degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent work experience · 5+ years experience - Business Analyst in an IT environment with strong focus in Quality Assurance or a QA Engineer/Analyst with Business Analyst responsibilities · Experience in functional testing software systems · Excellent knowledge of testing methodology (white vs. black box testing, function vs. path testing). · Experience defining and documenting software requirements · Experience developing testing artifacts, such as test plans and test cases · Experience working in multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) Preferred Skills · Facility with the Unified Modeling Language (UML) · Experience in a SOA / Web Services environment · Experience using iterative development methodologies, specifically SCRUM · Experience using HP Quality Center or equivalent test management solutions Experience using with defect tracking tools - HP QC preferred --------------------------- Thanks & Regards Srikanth Acharya Kindly submit your consultant profile to above Email ID.
