*Job Responsibilities:*

1) Ability to apply Teradata Unified Data Architecture to build an
Enterprise Data Warehouse from the ground up

2) Participate in key project design reviews as part of the methodology
process to ensure application designs adhere to enterprise information
architecture guidelines.

3) Ensure a focus on information/data quality by developing and publishing
enterprise data standards such as a common business vocabulary, naming
conventions and data standards that adhere to best practices

4) Prepare or participate in the definition of principles, standards and
guidelines that pertain to data and information use adhering to best
practices

5) Facilitate the mapping of information assets as they flow from upstream
legacy, package, or custom development and interfaces to downstream
analytical applications

6) Ability to evaluate, analyze and define a viable solution to be
implemented (must have examples)

7) Construct, refine and maintain data models to meet business
requirements, both LDM and PDM

8) Work with DBA's to incorporate any changes into the PDM necessary

9) Ensure timely and appropriate information models exist to aid projects

10) When necessary, oversee mapping of enterprise information architecture
models to package application models

3) Execution - must be able to design a solution and deliver it timely



Teradata Developer Technical Skill Set Requirements:

1) Teradata unified data architecture

2) Enterprise data warehousing

3) Active intelligence

4) Knowledge of roadmaps and common data models

5) Backup Archive and restore

6) Geospatial concepts

7) Data mart consolidation

8) Data warehouse migration

9) Teradata analytical ecosystem

10) ERWIN Data Modeler

11) Visio Professional (Reverse Engineering)



*Other Skill Set Requirements:*

1) Knowledge of Kimball theories (bottom-up - dimensions, facts, star
schemas)

2) Knowledge of Inmon Theories (3NF, Atomic Data, Corporate Information
Factory)

3) Familiarity with Big Data

4) Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related
study or equivalent related project experience

5) Six to ten years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 4 years in
information systems design

6) In-depth experience designing and implementing information solutions

7) Data/information modelling expertise at the enterprise level, working
with large and complex logical data models

8) Experience with various information modelling techniques (such as data
flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams in 3NF and
create/read/update/delete matrices)

9) Business orientation -- Being able to understand business concepts and
ideas in context to data model implications

10) Teradata experience (Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence

11) Use of ERWin, Rational, ARIS or similar data modelling tool

12) Knowledge of Consumer Beverage Industry would be a distinct advantage

13) Experience with one or more of following products is desirable but not
mandatory: SAP (BW and ECC), SAP Data Services, Informatica (Master - and
meta data management)
