*Solutions Architect - Application Rationalization* Location: Auburn Hills MI Duration: Long term contract Hiring: Phone / Skype / WebEx *Job Description:* · The Solutions Architect works with management within the IT organization, directing and creating solution architectures to support the development. · Ensures solution architectures in their domain adhere to enterprise architecture technical and functional strategies, policies, standards and practices. · Provides solution design input to projects and initiatives for purposes of planning and implementation. · Maintains awareness of business and technology plans and best practices in their domain. Supports business case justifications for enhancement or changes to the domain and enterprise architectures based on that information. *Required / Desired:* · Minimum 5-7 years in related business, business process improvement or information technologies work. Development of IT Architecture on multiple major global applications or infrastructure projects is required. · Responsible for defining *application modernization, optimization, rationalization, conversion, and migration* for an assigned project and is equally responsible for the successful implementation. · Demonstrates the required levels of technical skills.
