Please share resume at *[email protected]* <[email protected]> *BI Architect* *Location:* San Francisco, CA *Duration:* 12 months *Mandatory Skills* • An undergraduate or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, testing and implementing secure, scalable and high-performance BI and analytic solutions; at least 3 years of experience as a BI Architect. • Experience with BI and analytic tools including COGNOS, TM1, Business Objects and QlikView • Experience with dimensional data modeling and relational databases • Proficient in Agile/Scrum development methodology • Ability to communicate with high proficiency, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and staff, in both technical language and business terms. • Strong leadership, interpersonal, influencing, collaboration and negotiation skills • Proficient in developing technical specifications, presentations, training materials, user documentation, and technical documentation. • Demonstrated success with overseeing software development lifecycle for enterprise-wide BI projects • Ability to assess and solve complex technical problems *Job Responsibilities / Role:-* *Develop BI and Analytic Architecture Standards and Guidelines* *(20% of Time)* • Work with Data Architects to develop standards for creating data marts, cubes and universes that serve as a source BI and analytic work products • Develop BI and analytic standards and guidelines • User Interface Design • Data aggregation and drill downs/throughs • Application and data security • Application reliability, scalability and performance • Semantic and business rules • BI and analytic architecture standards • Work closely with functional business analysts to architect efficient and standards-based BI architectures and solutions that satisfy business information reporting needs • Educate technical and business staff on BI and analytic architecture standards and guidelines • Work with Business and IT Stakeholders to Define BI Solutions Designs (40 % of Time) • Work with Business Analysts to understand decision making and information needs • Translate business requirements into BI and analytics technical designs • Propose and demonstrate prototypical BI and analytic solutions that meet business needs • Collaborate with data modelers, DBAs, ETL developers, data scientists and BI developers to design scalable, high performance and usable BI and analytic solutions • Provide expert guidance on the selection and use of BI technologies to solve end user information access needs • Provide Technical Leadership and Oversight for the Development of BI Solutions (30% of Time) • Lead the development of BI solution prototypes that demonstrate performance and usability to business and IT stakeholders • Oversee of the implementation of BI architectures and solutions, including data acquisition process design, use of BI technology features and functions, business rules processing, and data aggregation and summarization techniques • Lead the performance monitoring and tuning of BI solutions • Serve as a technical leader and advisor to IT and departmental BI developers • Oversee the administration of BI and analytic tools, including upgrades, patch fixes, migration, monitoring, configuring and performance tuning • Work with application developers and computer operations to support BI development, test, staging and production environments including daily administration, batch processing, configuration management, environment migration, and tool automation • Serve as an technical escalation point for production issues with BI and analytic solutions • Innovate and Improve the Use of BI and Analytics Across Client (10% of Time) • Champion and educate business and IT staff on the use of the BI technologies for strategic and tactical decision making • Research and evaluate new and emerging BI, analytic and data processing technologies that can help solve pressing Client business problems • Work with vendors and Client stakeholders to carry out product evaluations and proof-of-concepts demonstrations for promising new technologies *Experience Level in Years (Range) * • An undergraduate or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, testing and implementing secure, scalable and high-performance BI and analytic solutions; at least 3 years of experience as a BI Architect -- - Thanks & Regards, *ATUL MALVIYA* *DirectionStaff Inc.* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* Gmail Id : [email protected] YMail Id : *recruiter.atul@yahoo. <[email protected]>in * www.linkedin.com/pub/atul-malviya/90/327/79b/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Resumes" group.
