I have a new Senior Business Process Analyst position located in
Washington, DC. We need someone who has Current Healthcare and BCBS
experience in the past. Below is the full job description for your

*Job Title: Business Process Analyst*

*Location: Washington, DC*

*Duration: 6 months Contract*

Mode of Interview: Telephonic/Skype/Face to Face Interview


·      Facilitate effective meetings and participate in working sessions
with the Business Lead, Business Sponsor(s) and core project team members
as part of the process in determining business requirements, Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) and User Training material and Reports.

·      Compile, develop, and finalize all documents for Business
Requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), User Training and
Reports using BCBSA processes and templates.

·      Create, review and maintain project artifacts consisting of:
Functional/System Specification, Design flows, Test Strategy docs, Test
Cases, UAT Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, and Training.

·      Obtain approvals for Business Requirements, Standard Operating
Procedures, Training and Report documents.

·       Support the projects throughout the project lifecycle as a Subject
Matter Expert (SME) for the projects assigned.


·      Must have 10+ years’ working as a Business Analyst with 4+ years
working on Large Projects with cross functional teams.

·      Knowledge with FEP systems, including MyBlue Customer eService and

·      Experience speaking/presenting before groups (e.g. Toastmasters)

·      Familiar with FEP Benefits and Incentive Programs.

·      Ability to work on the business (as opposed to the IT) side of
requirements gathering.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
