*Position Title: .Net Developer* *Location: New York City, NY* *This is a 6 months+ POSITION.* *Need ONLY GC/USC* *Job Description -* Looking to hire a senior .NET developer for one of our Insurance clients in NYC that can demonstrate some knowledge of business processes and application use cases, rather than resumes that are just lists of technologies. *Job duties: (list of core job responsibilities)* · Update, repairs, modifies, and expands existing computer programs · Analyzes, reviews, and rewrites programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt program to new requirements · Involved in the full lifecycle of application development · Reviews computer code to perform unit testing · Assists users to solve operating problems · Monitors performance of program after implementation · Corrects program errors, using methods such as modifying program or altering sequence of program steps · Provides technical assistant and support to departmental end users · Maintains knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise · Prepares documentation of all programming work · Maintains existing documentation · Maintains confidentiality of company-sensitive data · Keeps the Director informed of activities and situations, which will impact the achievement of corporate, and department goals and objectives · Performs other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the company and department *Qualification / Technology Skill / Expertise requirement (Must haves)* · Has shown the ability to code solutions to business problems from specifications in .NET programming language and TSQL.
