*Title:  Sr. *SQL Server/SSRS implementation Resource

*Location: * Denver, Colorado

*Duration:* Short engagement and flexible - 4 to 6 weeks of work then
available for questions for a month or two

The client is upgrading from SQL Server 2005 to 2012 to 2016 – hence needs
to be a *guru* on SSRS... as that is the most important skill.

*Description:*



 *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

·         Provide technical guidance and expertise for SSRS.

·         Resource to be available “on call” basis to answer questions.

·         Ability to provide a list of issues or what to watch out in
during migration from SSRS 2005 to SSRS 2012 and additionally to SSRS 2016.

·         Assist SSRS Developer in establishing timelines and level of
effort for migration tasks.

·         Understand the current systems landscape with reference to how
SSRS Reporting Services is integrated.



 *KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:*



·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training, and a minimum
eight (8) years as dedicated SSRS Report Developer / Reporting Analyst
utilizing SSRS in a SQL Server environment.

·         Expertise in SSRS Server 2005, 2008, 2012 utilizing SQL Server.

·         Migration experience from previous versions SSRS 2005, SSRS 2008
to SSRS 2012.

·         Experience in SQL Server & SSRS 2016.

·         Experience in SSRS 2016 Reporting Service Manager Tool.

·         Migration to SSRS 2016 a plus.

·         Experience with data warehouse architectures.

·         Proven understanding of benefits of the various design data
structure methodologies.

·         Understanding of SDLC.

·         Understanding of Power BI / Analytics would be a plus.

·         Strong, effective communication skills
