*Responsibilities: *
* Demonstrated expertise in Magento Enterprise platform.
* Knowledge of other enterprise eCommerce solutions a plus.
* Ability to translate client's business requirements into technical
solutions, based on platform's and market best practices.
* Advise on eCommerce re-platforming technology strategy.
* Ability to estimate level of effort and resources required to deliver
technical solutions.
* Work with Project Managers, QA and User Experience Leads to build a
delivery plan.
* Set technical direction and establish delivery planning for a team of up
to 10 people.
* Mentor the global Magento Enterprise practice (50+ developers).
* Assist in pre-sales opportunities such as RFP, architecture assessments,
and technical audits.
* Contribute to collateral or proposal content, participate in pitches, and
represents thier technical and platform expertise.
* Review Scope of Work and Change Orders for accuracy.
* Strong understanding of software engineering principles, databases and
data modeling/design techniques; data interface protocols;
caching/performance improvements; software design patterns and integration
patterns.
* Experience integrating with the rest of the eCommerce ecosystem and third
party APIs (OMS, 3PL, PIM, CRM, ERP, WMS, ESP,)
* Advanced knowledge PHP (using MVC frameworks), OO Application
Development, MySQL, cache or no SQL data storage and Web Services.
* Industry knowledge eCommerce and web, B2B and B2C.
* Responsible for staying on top of industry standards and best practices
for Magento.
* Excellent communications and presentation skills.
*Must have:*
Multiple enterprise eCommerce implementation experience, and expertise in
developing complex LAMP internet applications.
* Bachelor's degree required; degree in Computer Science or related field
preferred.
* 6-10 + years of system integration, web application or platform
development.
* 4+ years of Magento experience on Magneto 1 and/or Magento 2.
* 8 + years of eCommerce experience.
