They would also be responsible for troubleshooting potential issues that might arise within OpenStack. I could see them needing to do some research and fine-tuning of OpenStack configuration to meet performance benchmarks and requirements of enterprise NFV architectures. The OpenStack configuration will need to be able to scale significantly being able to support potentially thousands of VMs running simultaneously. The candidate should probably have some experience installing and configuring OpenStack for high-availability production environments and troubleshooting different components of OpenStack within this type of environment. *Goal:* Seeking an OpenStack Administrator that also has experience in network engineering. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of OpenStack Administration experience, Python scripting experience and 3+ years of network engineering experience. A strong Linux (Redhat preferred) background is desired. *Job Description:* The job involves deploying, configuring, and testing an OpenStack cloud that is used to host and test our VNF services (vFirewall, vRouter, etc). This includes troubleshooting encountered issues and providing solutions. Contribute to deployment repositories through creating Python scripts. Customization of OpenStack features is important. Will manage multiple instances of OpenStack to support various VNF demand within the engineering environment. *Other Tasks:* Works closely with commercial network architects to provide technological capabilities, limitations and features of proposed and approved commercial network platforms. Write implementation guides, troubleshooting guides, and test plans.
