It operates in support of the DHR Child Support Enforcement Program to meet the requirements mandated by US DHHS and OCSE. The system processes approximately $350 million in collections each year and supports over 600 users with over 50 interfaces. We are seeking highly skilled developers who have experience in developing both Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL) and .Net applications. Majority of the work (75%) will be in the Mainframe area. Requirements for the developer position t include but are not limited to the following: • Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL) and VB.NET/C#/.NET web/applications. • Experience in developing applications on Mainframe with COBOL, CICS, and DB2. Having TELON experience plus point. • Must be able to work in a software development environment following SDLC of waterfall and Agile/scrum methodologies. • Must have experience in developing and upgrading Mainframe/.NET framework applications. • Meet with users, gather and analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design. • Conduct unit testing and assist with integration testing. • Responsible for ensuring several web application development solutions are implemented according to customer requirements and work within allotted time/software constraints. • Provides development status updates to the management on a regular basis. • Provides guidance on best practices for software development and ensures adherence to organization’s IT policies. • Must be proficient in working with Visual Studio (2008/2010/2012/2015/2017). • Responsible for writing stored procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers, DDL/DML queries. • Child Support Application experience is preferred. • Experience using Visual Source Safe and TFS as Source Control. *Skills Required * - COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL,TSO - VB.NET - ASP.NET - C#, - Visual Studio - HTML - XML - CSS - SSIS packages - Experience in developing .NET applications with SQL server. - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. - Ability to work independently, under pressure and self-motivated. *Skills Preferred * - Experience in working with Mainframe Financial applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2 - Experience in working COBOL code generator TELON - Experience in developing and maintaining .Net based web applications - Child Support Application developments and conversion experience is preferred. *Experience Required * - Minimum of 5 – 7 years of Mainframe experience using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL,TSO - Minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in PC basedVB.NET/C#/.NET web/applications - Experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise web applications required. *Experience Preferred * • Experience in working COBOL code generator TELON *Education Required * • Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Mainframe and .Net application development (Or) • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Mainframe and .Net application development *Education Preferred * • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science. -- *Regards,* *Vijay D* Recruiter (State Govt Support) Phone: 312 967 7072 22260 Haggerty Rd, Suite # 285,Northville, MI 48167.
