I am about to buy a new backup tape drive for use with Retrospect, to
backup 1 Windows 2000 server, 1 Macintosh ASIP server, and about 15
mixed PCs and Macs. I am tossing up between
AIT 2
DAT-DDS 4
VXA
I would welcome any comments or suggestions about how suitable these
technologies are for workgroup backups.
AIT looks best for capacity and by reputation, but is expensive.
VXA is aggressively priced, but I haven't heard much about them.
