Rob,

Retrospect supports backup to devices on interfaces other than SCSI. This is
usually done with a software component that is installed when you install
the drive's accompanying software. This component makes the drive appear as
a SCSI drive, which is strictly-speaking the only interface Retrospect will
recognize.
