This is a bug in setuptools. I've seen it before, but I'm not aware of any  

There's actually two bugs:
1) They forgot to import "log"
2) They don't understand any recent .svn/entries format.

I can't do anything about either of these. You might want to try
upgrading/downgrading setuptools, or use a Git-svn checkout or something  
(if you're
familiar with Git), which will bypass their .svn/entries check.
