I mean '-v' for verbose, which is (as I understand it) somewhat of a  
standard for
getting more verbose output from command line applications.

In fact, as a user (only one of ???) didn't even think to search for '-d' or
'--debug' in the help info. I just assumed such an option would be  
under '-v' or
'--verbose', or didn't exist.

Perhaps adding an alais of '-v' to do the same thing would make it easier  
for some
users who expect that behavior.
