New issue 3712 by commande...@gmail.com: Unable to select text with the
mouse inside new files added in the review request
What version are you running?
What's the URL of the page containing the problem?
This is internal to VMware. The issue is consistent
across multiple review requests.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the diff for a review request
2. Go to a NEW file (changes to existing files work correctly)
3. Try selecting some text in the code with the mouse
either with double-click or with click-and-drag
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see the text being selected, instead nothing
happens as in "no text is being selected"
What operating system are you using? What browser?
Windows 7, Firefox (SeaMonkey to be exact):
User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101
Please provide any additional information below.
Generally speaking, the review board seem to block selecting
text inside new code files introduced in the review. Selecting
text in new/deleted/modified code in existing files works fine.
Selecting text outside the new code, i.e. the review header,
file names, etc, works fine.
