New issue 3920 by ultraran...@gmail.com: It's not possible to reply to
existing comments from diff view
What version are you running?
What's the URL of the page containing the problem?
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to diff view
2. Find an existing comment number and click on it
3. A popup appears with "Other reviews" and "Your comment"
4. Enter your comment (which is in context to the other reviews and refers
5. Press save
6. A new review is created, but I expected it to be added as a comment to
the existing review conversation (as if I had clicked "Add comment" below a
conversation on the "Review view" page)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected it to be added as a reply to the existing review conversation
(as if I had clicked "Add comment" on the "Review view" page)
This is a user experience bug.
What operating system are you using? What browser?
Windows 7, Chrome.
Please provide any additional information below.
This is the same as "Issue 180", which was reported as fixed 7 years ago
but actually doesn't seem to be fixed.
