Hi Austin,

Downgrading Markdown and reloading Apache shouldn't result in any further 
downtime. 

To get the clone to talk to the new DB, edit the 
$sitedir/conf/settings_local.py file. At the top, there will be a DATABASES 
variable you can change to point to the new location.
