Thanks Christian. As far as our use case goes, API access would be fine. We’d certainly use the default timezone if it were available, but the API would be very easy for us to take advantage of.

It's possible via a script or database modification to do it for the users you want. It's just the 'timezone' field on the Profile model (or accounts_profile table). Setting for all new accounts would require some changes. I'll think through this, see what makes sense to do.
