I apologize for the delay, but I was away due to work.
I started to test this PR few days ago, using pyspark. After fixing some
small issues, I found a problem when using the new API
(MQTTUtils.createPairedStream).
I create a JIRA for this,

I don't know if the current API behavior is the expected one. I think that
a small example/test with python and new multi-topic API could help a lot.
