Patch Set 2: According to the Kudu workaround you mentioned in the JIRA, this only breaks if the principal name uses IP address which doesn't correspond to any host. So, this sounds to me there is a workaround and this is purely a Kerberos issue which gets exposed by our test setup, which is good.
