Change subject: IMPALA-5717: Support for reading ORC data files ...................................................................... Patch Set 18: The bug I mentioned before is due to stale data read from DiskIoMgr. It seems that DiskIoMgr still keeps the file handler of the removed ORC file in HDFS. I can only set expected_local to false in AllocateScanRange to work around this. I filed a JIRA (IMPALA-6830) about this. Will be very appreciated if anyone can help to look into it.
