IMPALA-14946: Catch "trunc" error within Calcite planner
For the following query:
select dayofyear(trunc('2014-11-11', string_col))
from functional.alltypestiny limit 1;
...the Calcite planner now throws the same exception as the original
planner does. Previous to this commit, a java exception was being
thrown. This allows the test framework to match error messages when
there is no fallback planner.
