File src/kudu/util/sorted_disjoint_interval_list.h:

http://gerrit.cloudera.org:8080/#/c/8041/5/src/kudu/util/sorted_disjoint_interval_list.h@73
PS5, Line 73: start = end = intervals->begin();
Is auto possible here? If so, we can avoid the IntervalIterator typedef.

nit: Also imo "start" and "end" seem a bit confusing, as they refer to
intervals, but they sound like they refer to points. Maybe head/tail,
first/second, even interval1,interval2? May want others' thoughts on this. I
don't feel super strongly about this, but I think it's worth considering.

PS5, Line 75: for (; end != intervals->end();) {
nit: use a while loop?
