Patch Set 1: > Does this need to be backported? Yeah, I'll backport it to branch-1.5.x since I think that's the first release where we claimed JDK8 support. There's a separate issue of our already published artifacts: if any of them were built by an RM using JDK8, they'll be vulnerable to this. Is it too late?
