Of note, this fix addresses: - the fact that we are pointing at the dev repo, not the release repo - From the requirements: "Do not link to dist.apache.org" - From the requirements: "Links to the mirrored distribution artifacts must not reference the main Apache web site. They should use the standard mechanisms to distribute the load between the mirrors." (IIUC the Apache web site references should be handled by Apache's mirroring itself, and the "standard mechanism" to distribute load is the "closer" and "action=download" part of the new URL) A step to come is: - All official pre-releases (e.g. milestones, alphas, betas) must removed in a timely fashion once the final or GA version has been released.
