Given the current Kudu release cadence, a few members of Kudu PMC briefly discussed 1.18.2 release a few weeks ago in a private Slack channel. We didn't see an urgency to release 1.18.2 right away, but we thought about starting that work quite soon (in a few weeks from now?) at least to pick up the following fixes/updates: * KUDU-3736 * KUDU-3738 * https://gerrit.cloudera.org/#/c/24428 * https://gerrit.cloudera.org/#/c/24488 * etc. IIRC, in average it takes up to 2 weeks from the start to the release announcement email for a maintenance release of Kudu (i.e. going from 1.M.N to 1.M.(N+1)). Do you have any expectations, requests or deadlines you'd like to share with the Kudu team w.r.t. releasing Kudu 1.18.2?
