Review comment:
Couple of comments:
1. factor out the check, this is reusable to later also allow queue lists to
be filtered: `validateQueueQuery(string) error`
1. when an error is generated we need to return immediately we cannot go on
processing, the filter will cause all results to be ignored any way
1. echo the full parameter first, then the part that is incorrect within
that parameter as part of the error. Also be clear about the fact that the
_query_ parameter parsing failed

Not sure why this is added as this is already covered in

Review comment:
you can reuse `appsDao`, if the conversion fails an error is returned
otherwise the content is updated by the Unmarshal

Simplify this to:
```
if len(queueName) == 0 || strings.EqualFold(queueName, app.QueueName) {
appsDao = append(appsDao, getApplicationJSON(app))
}
```

Review comment:
You can reuse variables: `resp`, `req` and `errReq`, no need to create
req1..req4
You can even reuse `err` instead of `errReq` by declaring `var req
*http.Request` before line 218
