@wilfred-s Thanks for your thoughts. We need to think more about it. Not sure if rejecting an app simply because its gang annotation has issues is the best UX. We should change the title of this JIRA to something like "Emit events when task group annotation is invalid" to indicate its smaller scope, or create a sub-task for this PR -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
