sittcomm.award
a prize for photographers
sittcomm.award is an idea of young professionals in the field of
photography, who would like to support artists from Central and
Eastern Europe and to promote their work in wider European context.
sittcomm.award is a prize for photographers from Albania, Belarus,
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia,
Greece, Hungary, Kosova, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia (FYROM),
Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia,
Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine who had finished their photographic
series in the year 2006 or 2007. The jury will also consider previous
artistic record of the photographers.
Deadline for submitting up to 15 prints (minimum size is 20 cm on
shorter side) is September 30, 2007. No electronic submissions will be
accepted. Members of the jury can nominate photographers. In that case
organizers will contact nominated artists to send their photo series
for the final judgement.
